Axis Success

The AXiS Spring Conference - "VME Down to Earth", held at the Earth Centre, Doncaster on 27 and 28 April 2004 was announced a great success by IDS and its controlling company FunAsset.

There was considerable interest at the conference from AXiS and Fujitsu delegates about the new TCP/IP features available to OVME5. IDS explained to users of FunAsset’s SpoolQ output management and distribution software that their existing FunAsset OSLAN connectivity solution could be replaced by a direct TCP/IP connection also provided by FunAsset. By integrating the new solution, OSLAN could be removed from the VME network and as a result data routing would become far easier and more flexible.

IDS also showcased FunAsset’s MailSort On Demand software that enables users to save up to 34% on their bulk mail postage costs, together with SilentPrint that provides automated batch printing and PDF creation.
