SilentPrint Proceeds Donated To
Tsunami Earthquake Disaster Appeal
Ilminster, UK -
03 March 2005 - Following the tsunami earthquake
disaster on the 26 December 2004, FunAsset, the UK leader
in enterprise output management solutions and controlling
company of Integrated Document Solutions (IDS), pledged
that throughout January it would donate all proceeds from
the sale of its SilentPrint software to the DEC Tsunami
Earthquake Appeal.
FunAsset would like to thank everybody who purchased
SilentPrint in January for their indirect support of the
appeal. All proceeds have been donated from a month where
sales were at an all time high. "SilentPrint is just
one of the many products that we develop and distribute to
organisations throughout the world," stated Mark Williams,
Marketing Manager for FunAsset. "This is why we were
able to donate every last penny."
Also, FunAsset’s credit card payment provider,
NetBanx waived their 7% fee for all online SilentPrint transactions. "It
is amazing that so many people and organisations have rallied
to help the people affected by the disaster," stated
Mark. "I would like to think the increase in SilentPrint
sales throughout January had something to do with our marketing
efforts, but I am certain it is more to do with customers
wanting to do their bit for the appeal."
To ensure that DEC received the entire FunAsset
donation, the SilentPrint proceeds were passed through Gift
Aid. As a result, DEC will be able to claim back the 40%
tax that would normally have gone to the UK Government.
The thoughts of all staff at FunAsset and IDS
go out to those who have been affected by the disaster.
